SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt Praises Partnership Between ICI Education Foundation and National Urban League

Washington, DC, May 18, 2000 - Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Arthur Levitt today praised the Investment Company Institute Education Foundation and the National Urban League for their joint efforts in creating the Investing for Success program.

The program, which was announced today, is designed to increase awareness of sound investing principles among minorities through a series of brochures, articles, videos, and seminars.
